A recent procurement from Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Division of Professional Services appears to indicate that an interchange will be built at the intersection of KY 3 and KY 645 near Inez. The procurement bulletin states the following purpose and need: “The purpose of this project is to improve safety by providing for a grade separation of KY 3 traffic turning west bound onto KY 645. Proposed design should also provide for continuous movement for other movements at this intersection.”
