New Glasgow Outer Loop Named in Honor of Veterans; Opens to Traffic Dec. 15

The nearly completed Glasgow Outer Loop has been officially named the Veterans Outer Loop. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the route was held on Dec. 2.

(Updated, Dec. 22) The Outer Loop opened to traffic on December 15.


Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 media advisory:

GLASGOW, KY (December 14, 2004) - The section of the Glasgow Outer Loop from US 31E to KY 90 will be OPEN to traffic beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, December 15, 10:00 A.M.
Motorists are advised to pay attention to new traffic signals at the intersection of US 31E and the outer loop and KY 90 and the outer loop.
