The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Department of Highways District 3 reports that work has begun on extending the Natcher Parkway from its current terminus at I-65 in Bowling Green to near the intersection of Dye Ford Road and US 231. The contract for grade and drainage work was awarded in November to Scotty's Contracting for $29,300,000. There will be lane restrictions on I-65 from Exit 22 to mile marker 20 for the next year while work is underway on the parkway extension. | |
