Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 press release:

BROWNSVILLE, KY (January 31, 2005) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will hold a public meeting for KY 101 on Tuesday, February 21. The project involves the reconstruction of KY 101 from the end of the recent improvement at the Knobs south of Chalybeate to the new improved KY 101 north of Chalybeate. The meeting will be held at the South Edmonson Elementary School Cafeteria from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm and the public is invited to drop in anytime between those hours. The school is located on 1058 Chalybeate School Road.

The purpose of the meeting is to present to the public the latest plans that have been developed for the project. Handouts, comment sheets and displays will be available at the meeting. Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be available to answer questions. Written and oral comments will be accepted during the meeting.
