From the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Department of Highways District 3 (Aug. 27, 2010):

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Department of Highways District 3 Office advises motorists to be aware of signal work for Monday and Tuesday from 5 a.m. until noon each day. Crews will be installing upgraded signals at the intersections of 6th and Chestnut and 7th and Chestnut.
Each of these intersections had been temporarily changed from signalized to an all-stop condition. A traffic study originally set for 90 days has been scaled back to 60 days, ending today, with the determination that the intersections will remain signalized.
The signals will be turned on Tuesday.
Motorists are advised to use caution and pay attention to traffic control while traveling through this work zone.
