JACKSON, KY – Residents of Wolfe, Breathitt and nearby counties are invited to attend a public informational meeting to discuss a project to improve a section of KY 205 in Wolfe County.
The meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hampton United Methodist Church, 17 Pegg Fork Road, off KY 205 in Breathitt County between Vancleve and the Wolfe County line.
Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and project consultants will be available to answer questions and provide information about the project. Design plans will be available for public review.
This proposal consists of improvements to KY 205 in Wolfe County from the Breathitt County line to just south of the Mountain Parkway at Helechawa. The project length is approximately six miles and will consist of minor widening and curve improvements along the corridor.
Persons with disabilities who wish to attend the meeting but have special needs that require assistance should contact the project manager, Corbett Caudill, at (606) 666-8841 to request special assistance.
