In April, KYTC closed the I-75 northbound on-ramp at Newtown Pike (Exit 115) overnight for sign work and closed the southbound Paris Pike exit (Exit 113) for several days to widen the ramp. Also in April, daytime left-lane closures on I-64 in Fayette and Scott counties allowed shoulder repairs ahead of a future resurfacing job. In late September, misplaced construction cones caused a "significant" backup on northbound I-75 at the Paris Pike exit, and Lexington police said some drivers drove through the work zone.
