From Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 8:

Northbound I-75 Entry Ramp in Rockcastle County to Temporarily Close Friday
SOMERSET, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the northbound entry ramp on Interstate 75 at Exit 62 (Renfro Valley) in Rockcastle County will temporarily close Friday, Oct. 23, as part of the ongoing U.S. 25/KY 461 improvement project.
The ramp is expected to reopen next Thursday, Oct. 29.
The U.S. 25/KY 461 improvement project includes reconstructing several intersections along U.S. 25 from I-75 to KY 461, widening KY 461 from U.S. 25 to U.S. 150, and converting the I-75 interchange ramps to roundabouts, which will improve mobility and reduce congestion for traffic exiting to and from the interstate.
